Point of Contact's annual poetry series Cruel April will conclude with readings by Celia Caturelli (in its original Spanish with English translation) and John Colasacco. Part of Point of Contact's annual Poetry series Cruel April, the readings will begin at 6pm and will follow with a reception and informal dialogue with the poets.
Cruel April is a program of Punto de Contacto – Point of Contact supported by The College of Arts and Sciences at Syracuse University, The Coalition of Museums and Art Centers at Syracuse University, the Department of Languages Literatures and Linguistics (LLL), at Syracuse University, the New York State Council on the Arts, and in part, by a Project Support Grant through the County of Onondaga and administered by CNY Arts.
This event is free and open to the public.

From 15 to 17 June 2012 and as part of "48 Hours Neukölln", the entire nave of St. Christopher Church was transformed in a projection screen for films and slides from Celia Caturelli.
The works were completed in the years 2008 to 2012 and were for the first time presented to the public in this form.

"Cuarto, cocina y baño" in Mexico City

Between 16 and 24 of September 2011 Celia Caturelli continued their filming in Mexico City of "Cuarto, cocina y baño" produced by CaSi productions. It was recorded in the colonies of Nezahualcoyotl, Villa de Chalco, Istapalupa, Ciudad Satellite, Kochimilco, among others. Janke Nadine took over the sound.
